JBF SPAGHETTI SQUASH

  • 3 1/2 cup Italian Herb Pasta Sauce
  • 1 squash Spaghetti Squash
  • 16 oz. Grass Fed Ground Beef
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 small raw Red Onion
  1. Directions are based on the original recipe of 8 servings
  2. Step 1
  3. 1) TAKE THE SPAGHETTI SQUASH CUT IN HALF AND CLEAN OUT THE CENTER, RUB WITH COCONUT OIL ON BOTH SIDES , SEASON WITH SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE , PUT IN OVEN AT 400F PLACING CUT SIDE DOWN ON A BAKING SHEET AND USE A FORK TO POKE HOLES ROAST FOR 30 TO 40 MINUTES UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWNED ON OUTSIDE AND IS FOR TENDER, BUT STILL A LITTLE BIT FIRM. WHEN DONE COOKING USE A FORK TO SCRAPE AND FLUFF THE STRANDS FROM SIDES OF SQUASH.
  4. 2) WHILE WAITING ON SQUASH TO COOK CHOP RED ONION AND SAUTE IN SKILLET TILL TRANSLUCENT, ADD HAMBURGER MEAT (MAY ALSO USE GROUND TURKEY) COOK UNTIL BROWNED AND DRAIN ANY FAT, ADD BACK TO PAN AND POUR IN JAR OF SPAGHETTI SAUCE.
  5. 3) SERVE SAUCE OVER SPAGHETTI SQUASH AND SERVE HOT.
  6. 4, if you don’t want to use meat you can also substitute it for mushrooms
